The fireproof material is poured into the cylinder in which vacuum has been created. This process ensures perfect coating by the waxes and puts an end to the usual flaws that come with traditional bronze casting such as air bubbles and gaps.

The fireproof mould is then baked for several days at a temperature of 800° Celsius.

Lost-wax art foundry requires the moulding of the original work in order to reproduce it in wax. This wax model, enclosed in a fireproof mould, will melt out during the baking process and leave its space to the molten metal. The sculpture is then cast in bronze following the age-old lost wax method.
