The elastomer mould is coated with wax so as to obtain an exact reproduction of the original model.
The pouring network arranged around the model will enable the founder to channel the bronze when it is time for casting.

The waxes, gathered in “clusters”, are introduced into the vacuum-sealed moulding cylinder.

Lost-wax art foundry requires the moulding of the original work in order to reproduce it in wax. This wax model, enclosed in a fireproof mould, will melt out during the baking process and leave its space to the molten metal. The sculpture is then cast in bronze following the age-old lost wax method.
